About the Cabin

The holiday home “Villa Mila” is located on the first line by the Daugava River. The permitted number of persons in the cottage is 6 (with overnight stay). You may invite two additional guests at a charge of 10 EUR per guest. The maximum number of guests in the cottage, including additional guests, is 8. Please inform the person in charge. An extra bed is available for 25 EUR/piece; please request it in advance. A baby cot and a high chair are available – included in the price. This is a single-story cottage with one separate bedroom featuring a double bed and a second separate bedroom with a bunk bed. A large sofa bed is available in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary household appliances – a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, kettle, coffee machine with freshly roasted coffee, and a separate tap for drinking water. Dishes and kitchen utensils for full-scale cooking are also provided. The bathroom features a shower, bathtub, sink, toilet, and hairdryer. For your relaxation – towels, bathrobes, and slippers are included in the price. The house has an outdoor terrace with outdoor furniture, a jacuzzi with hydromassage (each cottage has its own private jacuzzi and sauna), and a BBQ area with skewers and grill grates (please purchase charcoal and lighter fluid yourselves).

Jacuzzi

The jacuzzi is available to guests from 17:00/18:00 until late evening. During the winter season, it is available from 18:00/19:00. Firewood is left by the jacuzzi; you are welcome to heat it further if the water has cooled down. Jacuzzi cleaning takes place the next day starting from 09:00, and repeated use is not permitted. To keep the jacuzzi water at an optimum temperature for longer, please put the protective cover on after each use or during breaks. This helps reduce heat loss and maintains water quality (cleanliness).

We offer two options for heating the jacuzzi: our staff fully prepares the jacuzzi until it is ready for use, or we start the fire by the time of your arrival, and then you have the opportunity to continue heating it yourselves, ensuring maximum privacy.

Sauna

The wood-fired sauna is available to guests throughout the check-in day. Repeated use of the sauna the following day is not allowed (unless a late check-out has been extended). The sauna is heated by the administration. After the sauna is prepared, guests may continue to maintain its temperature themselves, following fire safety requirements. Sauna whisks (pirtslotas) may be used; please inform the person in charge.

Swimming Pool

Use of the pool is permitted daily from 15:00 to 00:00. For safety reasons, the pool is not available during night hours. Daily technical maintenance and cleaning take place from 11:00 to 15:00, and swimming is not permitted during this period. It is strictly forbidden to leave children without adult supervision or to allow them to swim without life jackets or appropriate safety equipment. The pool is heated from May until October. The water temperature depends on weather conditions (wind, air temperature, precipitation). During the summer season in warm weather, the water temperature reaches 28 degrees. In spring and autumn, the water temperature is up to 24 degrees.

Pets

Pets are allowed, but guests are fully responsible for cleaning up after their pets. An additional fee of 10 EUR is applied per pet. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while on the premises. It is mandatory to pick up after your pet during walks. In case of any damage caused by the pet, the pet owner or the person who made the reservation bears full responsibility.

Activities

Guests who have booked the full package (jacuzzi and sauna) or stay for at least two full nights are granted 1 hour of free padel tennis with equipment included. Otherwise, padel tennis is 20 EUR/hour (equipment included in the price). In favorable weather conditions, boat rental with oars is available for 10 EUR/hour. To ensure availability and safe use, please coordinate boat usage with the administration in advance by calling +371 27057754. Swimming skills and compliance with safety instructions are mandatory.

Please note

• Glass glasses and other glass objects must not be brought into the jacuzzi or pool.
• Please use the plastic glasses available in the kitchen.
• If the pool is no longer in use during the evening hours, please close it.
• This will help keep the water warm and clean until the next day.
• Please keep noise to a minimum after 21:00 to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests.

Oškrogs – (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Akmeni Resort cooperates with Oškrogs, which is an independent third-party service provider. This means that Oškrogs operates as a separate company, and Akmeni Resort is not responsible for its operations or the quality of its services. Our agreement with Oškrogs only applies to free delivery for Akmeni Resort guests.

The tavern requests that orders be placed in advance by calling Oškrogs directly at +371 29571814.

Oškrogs is a countryside tavern with limited delivery capabilities; please place your orders at least one day before arrival. If the tavern does not respond within 30 minutes, please contact Liepukrogs by calling +371 20225314.
